Another birthday. Another year passes. As far as the ‘vox is concerned, there is nothing to show for it. It’s almost embarrassing.Time to do something about it. So that’s what this is about. Time. My promise to myself to update something every day. Maybe a quick blog post. Maybe some Twitter posts fed to the ‘vox blog. Some pictures uploaded to Flickr (ya’ know, to justify that Pro account my baby baby bought me for Christmas). Three Hundred Sixty-Five freakin’ days to fill.
So, today, The Owl. The Owl is a little game Desiree taught the munchkin and I. You face each other with nose and forehead touching and then open your eyes quickly so all you see is the other person’s eyes. You kind of wiggle your head, like an owl. Lily loves it. It’s, well, a hoot!

Well, rock may be a bit strong. I only played bass or rhythm guitar to David’s lead guitar. And I was on Easy mode. And even then, I only scored between 75% and 90% accuracy. After the library, we went up to mommy’s work up near the airport. With the new IKEA opening, the majority of the streets up there are closed off. A security guard sits out at the entrance to the parking lot at the Rentrak building and I have to tell her the name of the business I’m visiting.

I let Lily watch a string of children’s programs while I put some clothes away, email a client to let them know I’m tied up for the day and test out posting via email on Wordpress.
